Partners’ Stories
Action-attainment believes in the power of active, expert partnerships that include parents, children and professionals. We believe in children as individuals, whose skills and hidden needs – when fully understood – will provide their own pathway to a positive future.
Our funders understand the life-long disadvantages of unsupported neurodiversity for children and families. Their backing enables us to act in partnership with like-minded organisations to provide innovative, family focussed, evidence-based early interventions.
We are proud to work with parents, children, sports organisations, philanthropic funders, schools, academics and therapists who share our vision.
Brentford FC CST
BFC CST’s partnership with Action-attainment is unique because of their great level of expertise, in the field of understanding and supporting young people with neurodiverse needs. This knowledge, coupled with our team of coaches’ experience of delivering high-quality sports sessions, helps to provide really impactful programmes for the families that we work with.
Active 360

Our partnership with Action-attainment stretches back more than 10 years. We work with families and children to lower their anxiety and get started into water sports. Act-attain provides us with a briefing from families to support children. Sometimes – if it helps – a parent, friend or sibling will go onto the water to support a new starter. Over the years I’ve seen how our partnership helps children build friendships and confidence.
Funder
As more and more children are identified with special educational needs (SEN), it is encouraging to know that Action-attainment are in our schools supporting staff, parents and children with SEN. Our strategic partnership over 10 years has seen Action-attainment be able to respond to challenges within the education system, test ideas and find innovative solutions to improve education outcomes.
Therapist Talking Tomorrows SLT
Talking Tomorrows supports Act-attain in delivering its Parent Detective workshops. These online sessions help families to explore hidden needs, such as communication difficulties that can jeopardise a child’s education and mental health. It’s rewarding to support parents with information that helps everyone to understand and advocate for a child’s future from school to work.
Therapist CHAMP OT
I find working with Action-attainment to be incredibly valuable because they are not only dedicated to supporting neurodiverse young people but also exceptionally well-organized and communicative. They prioritize transparency and consistently demonstrate their commitment to the well-being of children and families in the community. Their strong emphasis on collaboration ensures that everyone involved has access to the best resources and strategies for positive outcomes.
ACADEMIC ADVISOR UCL
I work with Sam and her team at Act-attain to advise on how to deliver their programmes based on the latest research on Inclusive Education. We are currently working together to evaluate some of the programmes, identifying opportunities for scaling-up, helping more children, families and schools based on solid research evidence.
